Reigning from the city of Atlanta, a new artist has hit the streets. He goes by the name of Genno. Focusing mainly on rap and hip-hop, he began his career at the age of 15. His style has been praised as being different. From the beats to his tongue-twisting lyrics, his diverse style caught the ears of many individuals coming from many different backgrounds.

At this point of his career, Genno is trying to catch even more ears. In his music, he tends to concentrate on things that have happened in his life. From pain to joy, he wants the world to know what he has been through and what made him the man that he is today. In July, 2010, he released his first mix tape named “True Stories.” This album contained six songs, some made recently, and some made in 2008. He plans to continue to release mix tapes until he possibly gets a deal with a record company. But as of right now, he is simply doing what makes him happy….writing music and letting the world know that you can achieve anything that you put your mind to. His next mix tape is due to drop a couple of months from now. This album will be called “The Prelude.” In the meantime, he will continue to do open mics all around the city of Atlanta.

Genno is the only member, and it will remain that way. He purchases his beats from different individuals. He believes in getting things done in a timely manner, and he doesn’t want anyone to hold him back, although, he has done collaborations with people such as Kas, Kino, Hill, Reece, Eric, T-Boy, Bishop, and T-Gudda. He is currently managed by Jalisa A.K.A Lady Mone’t. She handles all graphic design, booking, and business issues.
